Lasgush Poradeci” school, is the first Albanian school by applying post-tensioned concrete
Post-tensioning is a technique for reinforcing concrete.
Post-tensioning tendons, which are prestressing steel cables inside plastic ducts or sleeves, are positioned in the forms before the concrete is placed.
Post-tensioned concrete means that the concrete is poured and the tension is applied, but it is still stressed before the loads are applied, so it is still prestressed.
Lasgush Poradeci” school is located in administrative unit No.6, Kombinat, Tirana, Albania.
The new school will have a capacity of 1200-1300 students with a standard of 5.8m2 per student.
The construction of this school gives the area an impact on future development and sets a new standard for the construction of other schools
