The New Orbital Highway and the Truck route is a project that aims to resolve traffic flow issues into and out of Doha by connecting Northern and Southern Qatar and transferring regular traffic and heavy truck movements from Doha to outlying areas.

This project involves the construction of 31km of new freeway, with 7 lanes in each direction, including 5 car lanes separated from 2 trucks lanes, 25km of side roads at five locations, with 4 lanes and up to 8 lanes in each direction, Five grade-separated interchanges, and all related cross-roads and ramps, Crossroads, pedestrian & bicycle paths with the appropriate over-pass structures, Service structures including underpasses, culverts, retaining walls, pump stations, substations, drainage structures, tanks, and gantries.

Works executed include:

  1. Steel Fixing of all sizes including placing of the spacer, coupler.
  2. Formworks installation and dismantling.
  3. Concreting Works.
